Chris Crowhurst Drums Percussion and Backing Vocals

Chris although playing drums from an early age started gigging in earnest at the age of 15 and played the Kent circuit with Duce, a band he co formed with a couple of mates from school playing mostly rock numbers written by the band. After leaving Duce he enjoyed a spell working for several bands which included supporting Whitesnake at Hammersmith Odeon.
1989 saw Chris move to the Southwest which began the best part of his music career which is now continuing with Rods Faces. Now settled in the Southwest he joined local band Poison Tree playing the likes of the Fleece and Firkin a well known live music venue in Bristol.
After leaving Poison Tree Chris worked as a session drummer gaining skills in all areas of music including Country, R & B, Reggae, Soul, Indie and Rock working for over 130 bands including both live and studio work.
The last eight years have seen Chris playing for one of the UK's top Status Quo Tribute bands QUO-incidence including a couple of years with another very successful tribute band QUO2. His time spent with the two Quo tribute acts saw him perform at the famous winter Olympic Stadium The Viking Ship in Oslo Norway, where they opened the World Speedway Championship playing to a crowd of over 8,000 which was screened live on Sky TV. They also headlined the Truck Festival, Tewkesbury Water Festival, American Custom Car Show, The Legends Tribute Show at The Wintergardens WSM and had a spell on Radio 2 involving Frances Rossi and Rick Parfitt of Status Quo. Chris still plays with QUO-incidence along with fellow Rods Faces members Gary and Andy and can sometimes be seen playing a double bill of Rod and Quo. Chris also runs drum clinics and teaches in his spare time and still does session work.
After Gary came up with the idea of Rods Faces Chris jumped at the chance of a new venture and is thoroughly enjoying playing The Faces classics.
