Ken Thompson Lead/Rhythm Guitar and Backing Vocals

Ken has a wealth of experience having played in bands both live and in the studio. Ken also runs his own studio in North Somerset. Ken played lead and rhythm guitar in the successful covers dance trio Cezanne for 10 years gigging extensively throughout the UK and programmed and played all backing instruments for their CD. Cizannes clients included a 2 year residency at the Hilton Hotel Group and Marriott Hotel Group along with numerous private and public functions. 

Ken also played lead/rhythm for the very successful Weston band Quantum who released the single "All For You" in 1982. 

Recent years has seen Ken playing the pro circuit with tribute acts QUO2 a tribute to Status Quo, Eltonglam a great tribute to Elton John and of course Rods Faces including clients such as Warner Hotels and Pontins.

Ken owns and runs a semi commercial recording studio "Farmtracks Studio" which has seen him Record, Produce, Mix and Master 3 CD's for local artiste Pat Sutton, and he also played keyboards and guitar during these recording sessions. Another West Country act Junction 21 have received Kens engineering skills again Recorded, Produced and Mastered their CD at his studio.  

More recent ventures have seen Ken out on the road providing PA and Engineering for various acts and the most recent Rods Faces recordings were Recorded, Produced and Mixed by Ken at his studio.

Ken Joined Rods Faces in early 2007 having known and played in other bands with Chris, Gary and Andy of Rods Faces and has become a great asset bringing valuable experience and great guitar skills to the band, and himself is a Bid Ronnie Wood and Faces fan.
